The Dare to Dream Philosophy
Dare to Dream Fitness is founded on the principle of empowering people in their fitness journeys. It is about removing limits and barriers that we often place on ourselves and dreaming big about what we can achieve. The Dare to Dream philosophy also centralizes the importance of self-love and being proud of our bodies for their amazing capabilities and potential at every step in our journeys. By starting from a place of self-love, we view fitness as one of the best investments we can make in ourselves. Exercise is never about punishment or shame, but is instead centered around becoming stronger, more confident, achieving goals, and unlocking new skills like never before.
Founded by NASM Certified Personal Trainer and calisthenics athlete Chloe Anderson Golub, Dare to Dream Fitness offers individual and group personal training services, as well as group fitness classes, both in-person and online to accommodate your lifestyle. Wherever you are in your fitness journey, let us help you discover your potential, achieve your goals, and embrace your authentic self with love along the way.
How It Works
Dare to Dream strives to accommodate your lifestyle by offering a variety of options for sessions and classes. Founded by a working mom, NASM Certified Personal Trainer Chloe Anderson Golub, we understand the need for flexibility and customizability to fit your unique schedule and needs. We offer personal training services and classes both in-person and online. Located in Orange County, New York, in-person services can be provided at Chloe’s home gym, at clients’ homes, at parks, or at several gyms in the area (contact us to learn more). Personal training can also be provided virtually via a video conferencing platform of your choice, such as FaceTime, Zoom, Instagram/Facebook messenger, and other platforms.

Importantly, our services are always no-strings attached and we provide customizable add-on options to make personal training work with different lifestyles and needs.

Chloe's Story
My name is Chloe Anderson Golub, and I am the proud owner of Dare to Dream Fitness. I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a calisthenics athlete, and a mom and wife. I live with my family in Orange County, New York (USA).
My fitness journey began in August 2022, when I stepped into a gym for the first time in my adult life as a 34-year-old mom. My life was in crisis at that point in time, and all I knew was that I needed to move. Picking up weights for the first time became life changing for me. As my journey progressed, I felt physically strong for the first time ever. The feeling of being powerful and capable made me feel alive again and allowed me to rediscover myself as the bold, creative, and ambitious woman that I was all along.
I suffered a traumatic ankle fracture in Fall 2023, which was devastating at the time. But I decided to turn this setback into a time for learning by investing in an at-home pull-up bar. I had never been able to do a pull-up or chin-up. But if I couldn’t train using my legs, given my broken ankle, I was determined to get that first pull-up. In October 2023, with a medical boot around my broken ankle, I achieved my first chin-up. I did not know it at the time, but this was another turning point in my journey.
In early 2024, I discovered calisthenics, which is a form of strength training that uses one’s bodyweight as the resistance and emphasizes the importance of mobility, balance, form, and body control. The word “calisthenics” literally means “beautiful strength.” Captivated by calisthenics athletes I had seen, I decided to focus my own training approach on calisthenics.
The year 2024 and 2025 brought incredible achievements for me both professionally and athletically. I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and created Dare to Dream Fitness in Fall 2024. Over the course of 2024-2025, I also achieved many fitness goals: a set of 20 pull-ups, a set of 60 push-ups, a set of 40 toes-to-bar, and more. I even managed to perform a pull-up with my 5-year-old daughter attached to me, which was the best moment of all of them. I also continued to progress with and master traditional weight training exercises, such as squats, deadlifts, and more. And I built incredible core strength and power that improved my performance and made me more resistant to injury. As a result of these achievements, I also saw muscle definition that I never thought possible. As a mother in my late 30's now, I look and feel better than ever before. But perhaps most important to me, I started to live my life more authentically, boldly, and passionately over the course of my journey. My confidence and mental health improved dramatically. I felt I was finally in the driver’s seat in my life. Creating Dare to Dream Fitness was the next natural progression in my journey, as I yearned to empower other people to dream big and achieve their fitness goals, all while discovering and embracing their true selves.
